About Me!

My name is Pardina Samson-Fessale and I am in no particular order an author, a nurse, a wife, a cat-mum and an occasional baker. I was born in London, raised in St Lucia by a South African mother and St Lucian father, and currently live in Sydney with my aforementioned cat and implied husband, where I potter about doing nurse things, writing things and bake the occasional cookie. If you're here, you're probably looking for book-related things about me, and to that I say that you're in a pretty good place.

I write children's books (for now, anyway - who knows whether I'll wake up one day and switch to writing for grown-ups?) and particularly like to write about my cultural backgrounds, my heritage and the things that make me me. So everything I write has a little bit of me in it. But don't worry if you don't enjoy what I write - I won't take it (too) personally!
